The Commissioner issued such directives while chairing a meeting here at his office on Wednesday which was attended by Additional Commissioner Hyderabad, Secretary Endowment Fund, Deputy Commissioner and SSP Jamshoro among others.

He led the documentation of all projects with the allocation of land required for the preservation of cultural and historical places under the Heritage Act. The offices, operating in the historic Sehwan Fort bungalow, should be moved to other locations with immediate effect so that the endowment fund can establish the museum, he said and added that the encroachment around the fort should also be removed in order to remove obstacles to restoration. the historical status of the fort.

During the briefing of the meeting, Secretary of Endowment Trust Abdul Hameed Akhund highlighted the need to set up a state-of-the-art laboratory for research on materials collected from historic places in the district.
