Dundee Township Historical Museum to host ‘Historically Haunted Car Show’ on October 30

The Dundee Township Historical Society Museum will host a “Historically Haunted Car Show” on Sunday 30 October.

Dust off the cobwebs and polish the chrome for a spooky car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the museum, 426 Highland Ave. in West Dundee.

The cost is $20 per car. There will be dashboard plaques for the top 50 cars and trophies for cars 25 years or older in the following categories: Best Car of the Decade, Best Show Car, Scariest Car and Best Costume. Halloween.

It is free for spectators. Concessions will be available, cash only.

See the museum’s ‘Windows and More’ exhibition, as well as other exhibits highlighting Dundee Township’s history.

The museum is open from March to December; closed for holidays. It is open from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays; the research library is open on Wednesdays.

Free entry; the suggested donation is $2 per person.
